HELP SHAPE THE FUTURE OF AFFORDABLE HOUSING AT THE 2024 ANNUAL CONFERENCE
Are you passionate about driving positive change in affordable housing? Do you have expertise or insights that could inspire and empower others in our community? If so, we invite you to be a part of our upcoming educational initiatives by submitting a proposal to present at our Annual Affordable Housing Conference and year-round programming.
The 37th Annual Statewide Affordable Housing Conference will be held on August 26-28, 2024 at the Rosen Center in Orlando, Florida. Proposals may be selected to present during the conference or offered a pre-conference session on August 25. If not selected to present at our conference, proposals will be kept on file for possible presentation as a webinar or workshop throughout the year.
If selected to present at our Annual Affordable Housing Conference, presenters will receive complimentary registration.
Guidelines for Proposals:
Presentations should focus on topics relevant to affordable housing, including policy, advocacy, development, finance, homelessness, and community engagement.
They should be informative, engaging, and actionable, providing attendees with tangible knowledge, tools, or strategies they can apply in their work or communities.
Presentations should adhere to a professional standard of conduct, promoting respectful dialogue and inclusive language.
Selection Criteria:
Submissions will be evaluated on the following criteria:
Relevance: Address current challenges, trends, or opportunities in affordable housing.
Clarity: Clearly articulate the topic, objectives, and intended audience.
Expertise: Demonstrate expertise or significant experience in the subject matter.
Innovation: Offer innovative approaches, solutions, or perspectives.
Diversity: Strive to include diverse voices and perspectives.
Interactive Elements: Incorporate Q&A sessions, group discussions, or hands-on activities.
Proven Strategies: Feature proven strategies or data-driven approaches.
Submission Instructions:
Please submit your completed Call for Proposals Form no later than March 31, 2024. Incomplete or late submissions will not be considered.
All presenters will be notified of their proposal status by April 30, 2024.
If selected, presenters must confirm their participation and submit any additional materials requested by the conference organizers by May 15, 2024.
