The Palm Coast Democratic Club will host a presentation on the three constitutional amendments appearing on November’s ballot during its regular meeting Thursday, October 8, at noon at Democrat Headquarters.

Saralee Morrissey, FAICP

Guest speakers Pat Drago and Saralee Morrissey of the League of Women Voters of Volusia County, a nonpartisan organization, will explain the amendments’ meaning and significance to help attendees better understand the ballot measures.

Morrissey brings four decades of public and private sector planning experience, including extensive work connecting school facilities and land use planning in Volusia County. A Fellow of the American Institute of Certified Planners, she founded Saralee Morrissey Consulting and serves on the League’s local board.

Pat Drago

Drago has been a member of the League of Women Voters of Volusia County since 1980 and served on the organization’s Florida state board from 2010 to 2018. She retired from Volusia County Schools in 2009 after 22 years, including 15 years as executive director of facilities. Her civic service also includes the Volusia County Charter Review Committee and Daytona Beach’s planning and historic preservation boards.
