Florida college students, recent graduates and aspiring young leaders have an opportunity to gain firsthand experience in public service through U.S. Senator Rick Scott’s Spring 2027 State Internship Program. Applications are now open, with a deadline of Friday, November 6, 2026.

The internship program offers participants an inside look at the operations of the U.S. Senate while developing valuable professional skills and learning how to serve constituents. Interns will assist with day-to-day office operations, respond to constituent requests, support statewide outreach, attend community events and work on special projects based on their interests and office.

Internships are available for the spring, summer and fall semesters at offices throughout Florida, including Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa, Tallahassee, Miami, Naples, Pensacola and West Palm Beach. Applicants must have a Florida address to be eligible. Students must submit a separate application for each semester they wish to participate.

The Spring 2027 internship runs from January through May.
