Daytona Beach, FL—The African American Entrepreneurs Association (AAEA) proudly launched National Black Business Month with a vibrant celebration at the historic Jackie Robinson Ballpark. The event featured the “Barrier Breakers” game and was a resounding success, drawing a diverse crowd of community members, business leaders, and supporters.


The highlight of the evening was the unique opportunity for local vendors to step onto the field, introduce themselves, and present their businesses to the audience. This initiative provided invaluable exposure for Black-owned companies, showcasing their contributions to the Daytona Beach community.

 

AAEA Founder & CEO Leslie Giscombe expressed his enthusiasm for the event: “We are excited to kick off National Black Business Month with such an engaging and impactful celebration. It’s inspiring to see our local entrepreneurs take center stage and to celebrate their achievements and contributions.”

Tiann Smith, owner of Foxee Maskot Creation, shared her experience: “It was a wonderful experience to be part of such a supportive and encouraging event. The opportunity to present my business at the Jackie Robinson Ballpark was exceptional and has given me incredible exposure.”

The event underscored the importance of supporting and recognizing Black-owned businesses, fostering a spirit of unity and collaboration within the community.
