In what promises to be a truly patriotic event, Bunnell Police Chief David Brannon is leading a dedicated team to create a memorable day for the community.

Organizing first responders, community and civic organizations, student clubs and organizations, and elected officials, the Veterans Day Parade set for November 11, 2023 will be all about honoring our community’s veterans.

Confirmed late Wednesday afternoon, Chief Brannon shared confirmation that U.S. Congressman Michael Waltz will serve as the parade’s Grand Marshal.

“We are honored, grateful, and thrilled to have such a distinguished veteran serve as the parade’s Grand Marshal.  His dedication to duty in the Army and continuing service to our country in Congress is an inspiring example.  We hope everyone will come out on November 11th to the parade and to the ceremony after at the Government Services Building to show our appreciation and love for all our community’s veterans.”

Organizations are invited to take part in the parade, while featuring their local veteran. The Veterans Day Parade will begin at the Historic Coquina City Hall in Bunnell, with the parade route traveling east on State Road 100/Moody Blvd where residents will have a front row seat to the event’s floats and displays.
