As the nation prepares to celebrate Independence Day, AK Certified Roofing, a local roofing company, has announced a heartwarming initiative to honor and give back to the veterans in the community. The company will be giving away a brand-new roof to a deserving veteran as a token of appreciation for their service and sacrifice. At no cost to the winner, AK Certified Roofing will install a new roof worth thousands of dollars for a qualifying former member of the U.S. Armed Forces.
Nominations for this special giveaway will open on June 28th and will run through August 31st. To nominate a veteran for the opportunity to receive a new roof, individuals can submit their nominations through the company’s website at akccfl.com/nominate-a-veteran. Each person is limited to one nomination.
To be eligible for consideration, the nominated veteran must be the homeowner, honorably discharged, and retired (not an active-duty service member). AK Certified Roofing aims to support those who have served their country and now find themselves in need of assistance with their roofing needs.
The selection process will involve a thorough review of all nominations, followed by the selection of the top three candidates. These finalists will then participate in interviews conducted by the AK Certified Roofing team. Nominees will be notified if they have made it to the final round of consideration.
In addition to the opportunity to receive a brand-new roof, each veteran nominated for the giveaway will also receive $500 off their roof replacement or $200 off their roof repair. “This gesture is a small token of appreciation for their service and a way for us to express gratitude to those who have served our country,” Andrew DiGaetano owner of AK Certified Roofing stated.
