Flagler County, Fla. (October 28, 2024) – The Flagler Tiger Bay Club is pleased to announce Carlos M. Cruz as the November luncheon speaker.

Author and policy expert Carlos M. Cruz is and Partner in Converge Public Strategies. Early in his career, Mr. Cruz has served as a legislative assistant for the President Pro-Tempore of the Florida Senate before becoming the youngest member of the Commissioner of Agriculture’s executive staff, where he enabled the department to communicate Florida’s agricultural importance in the newly developing areas of Latin America and other Caribbean nations.

Mr. Cruz maintains close relationships with legislators and staff as a former staffer in both the legislative and executive branches of Florida government. In the private sector, Mr. Cruz has advised various firms on creating and managing their state government and policy communications practice teams. He earned a reputation of being an informed advocate who creates consistent solutions for his strong client base.
