The community is invited to celebrate the grand opening of The Valley of Vision Grief Coaching, a new faith-based grief recovery service founded by local Grief Recovery Specialist Iola Burnsed. In partnership with the Professional Women of Flagler County (PWFC), a ribbon cutting ceremony will take place on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 8:30-10:30 AM, with the official ribbon cutting at 9:30 AM. The office is located at 26 Office Park Dr., Palm Coast, FL.
The Valley of Vision Grief Coaching is dedicated to helping individuals navigate the valley of loss with faith-based compassion and practical guidance. Founded on the principle that grief is not something to “get over” but rather a unique journey each person must learn how to move through, the service ensures no one has to walk this difficult path alone.
“With the right tools, proper instruction, and an empathetic guide, you can get effective and meaningful help that teaches you how to turn pain into peace, heartbreak into happiness, and grief to gratitude,” says founder Iola Burnsed, who brings over 20 years of experience to her practice.
Burnsed’s story is one of resilience and transformation. Having endured significant amounts of grief, pain, and loss, she has emerged feeling fulfilled, purposeful, and at peace. “In creating The Valley of Vision Grief Coaching, I believe I am answering God’s call to turn my pain into purpose,” Burnsed explains.
The service addresses various types of loss, including the death of a loved one, broken relationships, pet loss, job loss, and any other significant life changes. The Valley of Vision offers personalized coaching that combines faith-based principles with proven grief recovery methods to help clients find health, hope, and healing for their hearts.
“Grief is a universal human experience, yet each person’s journey is deeply personal,” Burnsed notes. “My mission is to provide the compassionate guidance and practical tools needed to transform pain into purpose and help others discover hope on the other side of loss.”
