BUNNELL, Fla. – On Tuesday, March 5, Lake County Schools will welcome its newest class of Alumni Hall of Fame inductees at their Night of Stars event hosted by the Education Foundation of Lake County. Among those inductees is Bunnell’s very own City Manager, Alvin B. Jackson, Jr.

“I am incredibly appreciative and humbled by the acknowledgement,” Jackson said. “The Lake County School system gave me my start my beginnings. For them to recognize my life work is just really awesome.”
“The Lake County Schools Alumni Hall of Fame was established in 2016 to honor their graduates who have built on what they learned as a Lake County Schools student and have distinguished themselves through outstanding personal and professional accomplishments.”
“Every day I choose to have a great day no matter how difficult things may be, challenges, disappointments, I make a choice, and that choice is to have another great day.”

The City of Bunnell is honored to have Dr. Jackson as our City Manager and proud of the honor he will be given by Lake County Schools. It is Dr. Jackson’s creative and innovative thinking which, in our opinion, has put him in a class of his own; we are lucky to be on the receiving end of his creativity and innovation, said Bunnell city officials via social media on Wednesday evening.
