March 30, 2023 – An impending graduation is a time to celebrate hard work and good grades. To help make the good times even better, the Flagler County Public Library is offering to take free portraits of graduating seniors during the month of April and May at the main, Palm Coast facility.

All graduating seniors, whether from local public schools, private schools, or home-schooled are welcome to have their portraits taken.

“The portraits will be taken in front of backdrop, and they will have the ability to wear a cap and gown. The photos will then be provided digitally so they can print what they want, but we are not providing prints,” said Chief of Special Projects and Library Director Holly Albanese. “Portrait packages are expensive and not everyone can afford them. This is a great opportunity for the Library to give back to the community.”

Students and families taking advantage of the offer should note that, by policy, Flagler Schools accepts only “official” senior portraits for inclusion in its yearbooks.
