ST. AUGUSTINE, Florida – The 2024 Winter Open Series Poker Tournament is coming to bestbet Jacksonville, the largest poker room in Florida, from January 18th to January 29th. Satellite events began January 9th with the four-day Main Event beginning January 26th and featuring a $300,000 guarantee. Last year’s tournament champion, Justin Macella of McRae, GA, triumphed over 327 players with a total prize pool of over $580,000.
The series kicks off on Thursday, January 18th, with the first day of Event #1, beginning at 12pm. Event #1 is a No-Limit Texas Hold’em tournament with a $100,000 guarantee. All events will allow unlimited re-entries within the registration period. All events are one-day events except for Event #1 and the Main Event. Event #1 is a four-day event with six starting flights and the final table will be live streamed on the bestbetLIVE YouTube channel.
The Main Event begins Friday, January 26th at 12pm. It is a four-day event with two starting days, allowing re-entries on Day 1A and Day 1B. Main Event final table play will be live streamed on the bestbet YouTube channel. The Winter Open Series also features a Ladies No Hold’em Tournament on Wednesday, January 24th, with play beginning at 12pm. A feature and final table will be live streamed during the Ladies event.
