FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – If you’re looking for an eclipse watching party, Tortugas Florida Kitchen and Bar is the place to be on Monday. Co-hosted by Flagler Broadcasting, eclipse glasses are available for attendees while supplies last.
Flagler Beach City Commissioner Scott Spradley will host a viewing for those interested, in Flagler Beach.
“If you are strolling around downtown Monday, and want to safely peak at the Eclipse, I plan to have my Telescope set up outside my office on South Central Avenue. I use the projection method, in which you actually look away from the Sun, not at it, as we did in 2017, see below. Maximum solar coverage is around 3 p.m. Stop by and visit! We will have cold water for you, and will also have our calendar on hand for you to make an appointment for a free consultation about updating your Will!”
NASA Offers safety tips for viewing Monday’s eclipse HERE. They will livestream the eclipse at this link on April 8 starting at 1 PM. LINK TO STREAM.
