City Council Special Budget Workshop Meeting on Tuesday, March 24 at 9 a.m.
Topics include Strategic Action Plan Evaluation, Local and Regional Economic Conditions, 10-Year Capital Improvement Forecast, and more.
Palm Coast – The Palm Coast City Council meets regularly to discuss and vote on official City business. These meetings are open to the public, and Palm Coast residents are strongly encouraged to attend. An increase in public engagement helps to build a stronger sense of community, increases valuable discussions, and decreases division.
A special budget workshop meeting will take place beginning at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, March 24, 2023. No action will be taken during the workshop. Details of the items on the agenda are listed below.

The City of Palm Coast will present a presentation discussing the existing Strategic Action Plan process, priorities, and direction moving forward. On an annual basis, City staff coordinates an evaluation of the Strategic Action Plan Process to ensure that the fiscal year adopted priorities continue to align with the City Council’s vison.

Dr. Albert Loh, Director of Local Economic Indicators Project, Goggin College, will present a presentation giving an overview of the regional and economic conditions. As a result of the partnership with the University of North Florida (UNF) for the second consecutive year, Dr. Albert Loh will present his findings on the local and regional economy.

The Stormwater and Engineering Department will present a presentation discussing the 10-year capital improvement forecast. The purpose of a 10-year CIP is to provide decision-makers and the general public with a long-range view of upcoming projects. Included in the 10-year CIP are transportation, parks and recreation, public safety, and general government capital projects.
