Palm Coast—The Palm Coast City Council meets regularly to discuss and vote on official City business. These meetings are open to the public, and Palm Coast residents are strongly encouraged to attend. An increase in public engagement helps to build a stronger sense of community, increase valuable discussions, and decrease division.

The City Administration will deliver a presentation approving the final 2024 General Election results. On November 5, 2024, the District 1 and 3 seats and the office of Mayor were on the General Election ballot. In accordance with the City’s Charter Article VII, the City Clerk shall immediately report the results back to the City Council to certify and file the results.
Oath of Office for the Newly Elected Council Members
The following Oath of Office Swear-Ins will be conducted:
The City Administration will conduct a swearing-in for the newly elected Council members. The 2024 General Election had three City Council seats on the ballot for Mayor, District Seat 1, and District Seat 3. The voters elected Mike Norris for Mayor, Ty Miller for District 1, and Ray Stevens for District 3.
Organizational Items
The following organizational items will be addressed:
The City Council will make a selection for Vice Mayor. Section 5(b) of the City Charter states that there will be an annual election for the Vice Mayor and that “such election shall take place at the first meeting after the General Election or at the organizational meeting during years when there is no election.”
Presentations

The Human Resources Department will present the Strategic Government Resources (SGR) City Manager Recruitment Brochure. The City Council approved a contract with SGR for a city manager search at the June 18, 2024, business meeting. If the Recruitment Brochure is approved, the posting for the City Manager position will go live within a week.
Public Comments will be opened at the beginning and end of the business meeting in accordance with Section 286.0114 Florida Statutes and pursuant to the City Council’s Meeting Policies and Procedures. Each speaker will approach the podium, provide his/her name, and may speak for up to 3 minutes.
Meetings of the Palm Coast City Council typically occur three times per month. A 6 p.m. business meeting on the first Tuesday of the month, a 9 a.m. workshop meeting on the second Tuesday of the month, and a 9 a.m. business meeting on the third Tuesday of the month. All meetings occur in the Community Wing at City Hall at 160 Lake Avenue in Palm Coast.
