ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – St. Augustine-based boat tour company Florida Water Tours is teaming up with marine education nonprofit Florida Water Warriors to host Cruise for a Cause Day on Saturday, July 18. This special fundraising event offers two unique boating experiences, with 100% of ticket proceeds benefiting Florida Water Warriors’ mission of marine science education, conservation, and community outreach, as well as a silent auction open for bids from July 1 through July 18. New this year, guests can enjoy the new Sunset River Jazz Cruise for a Cause and directly contribute to Florida Water Warriors’ mission.

“Spending time on the water and being an integral part of hands-on science and research has an enormous impact on young minds,” says Jessica Jadick, Owner of Florida Water Tours and Executive Director of Florida Water Warriors. “We want those experiences to be attainable for all children, no matter their economic situation. That’s why we started Florida Water Warriors – to help raise the next generation of conservationists through fun and transformative educational experiences.”
