FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – The primary election will be over and neighbors, friends and families can start talking to one another again as the Flagler Tiger Bay Club hosts their annual Wine Tasting Meet & Greet, set for August 22, 2024 at the Palm Coast Community Center.
Marking the sixth year, the bipartisan organization has become synonymous with bringing the community together under the banner of civility. Comprised of members of all ages, it’s a generational snapshot of Flagler County’s community leaders, those who have served, are currently serving, and those who will one day serve.
The gathering’s major highlight is the annual “Big Reveal” presenting the upcoming state and national speakers who will keynote the monthly luncheons held at the Hammock Dunes Club, traditionally on the third Wednesday of the month at noon.
The Flagler Tiger Bay Club has hosted high profile speakers including former FSU President John Thrasher, Florida Speaker of the House Paul Renner, Rafael Borras, President/CEO, Homeland Security & Defense Business Council, SecureG Vice President James F.X. Payne, Scenic America President Mark Falzone, Dr. Gloria Bozeman Herndon, Founder, President, & CEO of GB Group Global, and the late CNN Political Commentator Alice Stewart.
Not Just Networking
Sponsored in part by Chiumento Law and open to the public, this year’s wine tasting will be presented by European Village favorites La Piazza Cafe. Guests are invited to sample the premium selection of wines as part of their entree into the event. Bottles and cases will be available for purchase. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be catered by World Plate, known for their delightful presentation and recipes.
Capturing the excitement this year will be Thomas Media Solutions with their 360-photo booth, a hot ticket item for parties, weddings and events, and live entertainment will be provided by Cesar Romero.
A variety of non-alcoholic beverages will be available for guests more interested in networking than wine tasting, and surprises will be unveiled to guests throughout the evening.
