Palm Coast, FL – National Black Business Month in Palm Coast is a time to celebrate and support the vital contributions of Black-owned businesses in our community. This year, the African American Entrepreneurs Association (AAEA) proudly co-hosted the inaugural Flagler County Expo at the African American Cultural Center. The event was a resounding success, spotlighting local Black entrepreneurs and providing invaluable opportunities for networking, education, and business growth opportunities.

The Flagler County Expo brought together a vibrant community of entrepreneurs, business leaders, and public officials. Attendees had the opportunity to connect with local Black-owned businesses, access educational resources, and gain information critical to thriving in today’s competitive marketplace.

The Expo was honored by the presence of esteemed local leaders, including City of Palm Coast Mayor David Alfin, City of Bunnell Mayor Catherine Robinson and Bunnell City Manager Dr. Alvin Jackson. Their participation underscored the importance of supporting Black-owned businesses in our community.

Key sponsors and community figures, such as Flagler County Commissioner Andy Dance; Brian McMillan, Publisher of Palm Coast Observer; Jay Scherr, President of Flagler Tiger Bay Club; Fernando Melendez, Flagler County Commission candidate; Mike Norris, Palm Coast mayoral candidate, and Sam Greco, Florida House of Representatives candidate for District 19, were also in attendance. Their support highlights the collective commitment to fostering a thriving business environment for all.

A highlight of the event was the presentation of the AAEA’s first-ever Community Leader of the Year award, bestowed upon Jerusha Logan for her outstanding contributions to the community. Her leadership and dedication inspire everyone.
“We are thrilled to have co-hosted this significant event during National Black Business Month,” said Leslie Giscombe, Founder and CEO of the African American Entrepreneurs Association.
