BUNNELL, FL — The Bunnell Police Department arrested Antonio Figueroa-Acevedo, 30, of Palm Coast, following a violent domestic incident reported at a Bunnell residence on the morning of June 12, 2026.
At approximately 9:55 a.m., Bunnell Police officers responded to a report of a physical disturbance. Officers learned the suspect, who was known to the victim, allegedly entered the residence without permission, attacked the victim, prevented the victim from leaving, and used violence during the incident.
The victim was able to escape and seek help. Officers quickly secured the scene, began the investigation, and requested assistance from the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Unit. Detectives also obtained witness information and collected evidence related to the incident.
A bulletin was issued for the suspect and his vehicle to nearby law enforcement agencies. Through coordinated investigative efforts, Acevedo was located in St. Johns County by their Sheriff’s Office. He was secured pending arrest and later charged in connection with the incident.
Detectives prepared an arrest warrant, which was signed by the Honorable Judge Melissa Ditslear, charging Acevedo with the following:
