Ormond Beach, FL – The 8th Annual Granada Grand Festival of the Arts heads back to Historic Ormond Beach on Saturday, Feb. 5, 2022, from 10 am – 4 pm.  This year the festival returns to New Britain Avenue between Beach Street and Ridgewood where event-goers will find artists, crafters, a chalk art competition, music, food, beer & wine and so much more.

This free festival is expanding this year with more than 80 artists and crafters, along with new activities for the whole family. Visual artists and art demonstrations line the street.  Stop by our “Pop-up Plaza” for musical performances, a chalk art competition sponsored by ArtHaus, food from local restaurants, and an opportunity to be part of this year’s community art project.  Get creative at our “Youth Art Tent” with hands-on activities for the whole family. Bring your ukulele for our afternoon “Ukes in the Street” jam session led by Beachside Music.

Grab a beer or a glass of wine and wander up and down the street to watch select artists as they conduct live demonstrations of their technique, then snag something unique from one of the exhibitors selling their handcrafted pieces, the majority of whom reside right here in Volusia County. Stop in at our stages on both ends of the street to enjoy local jazz and blues musicians including The Adam Kornecki Trio and jazz guitarist Thomas J. Jones.

Don’t forget to vote for your favorites at the ArtHaus Chalk Art Competition.  Eight professional artists will create mini-masterpieces in just 7 hours.  Judging takes place at 3 pm and your vote helps determine the “People’s Choice” winner.  All the money collected in the chalk art area goes to support the art education programs at ArtHaus.

Taking in all this art got you hungry? Our Pop-up Plaza has quick bites from local restaurants.  Plus, New Britain gives you instant access to all the great food purveyors lining this block – Fugu Sushi, Gold Leaf Coffee Co., 31 Supper Club, Rose Villa Southern Table & Bar, Grind Gastropub & Kona Tiki Bar, 63 Sovereign, and Hull’s Seafood.  Just a few steps more will take you to Frappes Italian Grill, Dunn’s Attic, or Frida’s Fresh Mex & Cantina.  Grab a coffee, pause for lunch or stay for cocktails and dinner after the festival.

Still want more?  Stay in the neighborhood for the monthly First Saturday Art Walk at our local galleries from 5 pm – 8 pm.
