BUNNELL, FL – On September 21, 2023, Flagler County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) Deputies responded to 2676 Redwood Street in Bunnell along with Flagler County Probation & Parole to conduct a probation check on two probationers with this address listed as their residence.
Upon arrival, two subjects fled from the rear of the house. Upon a search of the residence, narcotics and drug paraphernalia were located within the home. It was also determined that none of the occupants had a legal right to be in the home and that the property owner had no knowledge of any tenants residing in the home.
As a result of locating narcotics within the residence, FCSO’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU) obtained and served a narcotics-related search warrant at the residence early Thursday morning, September 22, 2023.
During the search, detectives seized the following items:
- 30.97 Grams of Methamphetamine
- 1.43 Grams of Fentanyl
- 5.56 Grams of Cannabis
- Drug paraphernalia
As a result, Jessica Giddens was arrested for Violation of Probation – Felony and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Additional charges are pending following the completion of the investigation. She is currently being held on $2,500 bond.
“Another poison peddler thumbing her nose at the justice system is in the Green Roof Inn after getting caught with illegal drugs in our community and while on probation,” said Sheriff Rick Staly. “Great job to our District 3 Deputies, SIU, and Probation & Parole who continue to combat poison peddlers in Flagler County!”
Giddens has been arrested for Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Fentanyl, and Possession of a Legend Drug Without a Prescription in the past.
