Students are urged to contact their families today

Supervisors should plan to support the following key services in person on Wednesday:

  • Athletic Facilities

  • Facilities
  • Housing & Residence Life
  • Hunt Library
  • Mori Hosseini Student Union

Employees in these service-focused units may be expected to be present. Those with childcare challenges can use personal leave (P/L). Employees should keep in contact with their supervisors and always put safety first.

In addition:

  • Classes are cancelled at Worldwide Campus locations in Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando and the Space Coast locations.
  • Daytona Beach Flight Operations will be grounded on Wednesday, but students can complete orals and simulator activities. Diamond aircraft will be temporarily secured at Homestead, Florida. The rest of the fleet will be in hangars or tied down.
  • Athletics facilities will remain open. Individual coaches will determine which activities can take place Wednesday.
