Welcoming not one but three of the state’s major players to Flagler County, Flagler Republican Party Chairman Perry Mitrano was all business as he and his team oversaw the 2-hour townhall style meeting.

Sharing information about the work being done in Washington D.C., U.S. Senator Rick Scott pulled no punches about the magnitude of the work ahead. From the $32 trillion dollar deficit and lack of a budget, to working with Senator Elizabeth Warren on banking and Federal Reserve reform, there’s a laundry list of issues to tackle.

Joined by Florida Representative Tom Leek, as House Appropriations Committee Chair, Leek worked with colleagues on items such as HB 1, providing school choice options for students in Florida schools during the last session.

The sold-out event drew party faithful to the Pine Lakes Golf Course.
