How do you rekindle your creative spark and gain inspiration? Is it by meeting with other passionate creatives in an environment where ideas flow plentifully and freely?
With the aspiration to be a catalyst for experimentation, learning and creativity by providing outstanding instruction from professional artists in a friendly learning environment, The Flagler Beach Studio Art Center (FBSAC) provides such a place. An ongoing series of Ceramic Art Classes and encaustic painting have begun with Drawing, Sculpture, metal stamping, fused glass pendants and other offerings in the works.
Says Joan Cuson one of the FBSAC’s very first students, “I have been so wonderfully pleased with this class. I have been taking pottery classes with a number of instructors for two years and in this class I have learned new skills. In addition to his talent, Don is patient, supportive and encouraging. He is more than willing to share his wealth of knowledge and experience. I can’t give a higher recommendation to anyone considering this class. You will NOT be disappointed!”
The new art center will appeal to anyone looking to have some fun, meet some creative people and learn something new. Classes are conducted by local and internationally acclaimed artists. The Studio Art Center is co-directed by Audrey Scherr and Don Davis, both active veterans in the Art scene here and beyond. The studio is open daily 10-5 for interested visitors. The Flagler Beach Studio Art Center is located across from The Flagler Beach Historical Museum and behind Pineapple Gallery at 208 South Central Avenue. Enter through Pineapple Gallery.
