Bunnell [October 9, 2024 @ 8:00 PM] – EMERGENCY ALERT: The City continues to urge ALL Bunnell households and business to conserve water.
The recent weather, plus the rains from Hurricane Milton have put a significant strain on the sewer system, lift stations and Wastewater Plant.
To help the canal systems maintain flow, slow down flooding and assist the operations at the Wastewater Treatment Plant, WE NEED YOUR HELP.
Please conserve water by avoiding doing laundry, limit showers, do not run the dishwasher and flush when necessary. Every drop we can keep out of the sewer system helps!!!
ALL RESIDENTS ARE ADVISED TO LIMIT THE USE OF WATER.
Unnecessary water usage, could lead to lift station failure as the system is over taxed by not only the rain fall, but water going down the drains from all businesses and houses on the City sewer system.
DO NOT allow children to play in water from overflowing manholes. Try to avoid contact with water from overflowing manholes.
