PALM COAST, FL (July 5, 2022) – The Junior Chamber, a 501(c)3 non-profit educational initiative from the Palm Coast-Flagler Regional Chamber of Commerce, is partnering with Waste Pro to clean up the roadway along the Flagler Palm Coast (FPC) High School campus on Saturday, July 23, 2022, beginning at 8 a.m.
The Junior Chamber was created to directly support local high school students preparing for post-graduation life.
New Junior Chamber Student President and FPC Junior, Jasmine Coache, said, “I developed the cleanup initiative after walking to school and seeing trash and broken glass along the roadway and sidewalks near FPC. I want to make a difference and the Junior Chamber can help.”
A Junior Chamber strategic goal is to support local students who generate ideas on how to help improve or educate our community.
“Jasmine’s initiative is well thought-out, environmentally friendly and will help instill a greater sense of community among participants,” said Greg Blosé, President & CEO of the Palm Coast-Flagler Regional Chamber.
Waste Pro Division Manager Heather Badger-Felmet said, “We believe in being involved in and giving back to this community, especially to the kids who call this place home. The future is in our youth, and by showing them the importance of caring for our communities through our local environment, we can be an example for them showing how small things like one cleanup can make a larger impact on keeping the Palm Coast community beautiful for generations to come.”
