The Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation, the charitable organization powered by Dunkin’, its franchisees, guests, vendor partners, and employees, presented a $5,000 grant to Palm Coast’s Live Like Cameron Foundation. This grant will support the foundation’s “Bags of Hope” program to provide soft bedding and care packages to help make kids’ hospital stays as comfortable as possible.
To honor the memory of their son Cameron Fulling, Daniel and Melisa Fulling created the Live Like Cameron Foundation to offer financial assistance and donations to families with children who have been diagnosed with cancer, and to provide children with comfort during hospitalizations. Inspired by Cameron’s request for more comfortable hospital bedding, the Live Like Cameron Foundation’s “Bags of Hope” initiative aims to make lengthy hospital stays more enjoyable with care packages, including age-appropriate activities and soft bedding.
The Live Like Cameron Foundation was one of 80 organizations selected across the country to be a recipient from the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation’s Regional Grants. Nearly $900,000 in health and hunger grants were distributed to local organizations making a difference in their communities.
