TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Thomas C. Nash II and the reappointment of Ronald Howse and Russell Roberts to the Florida Transportation Commission.

Thomas C. Nash I

Nash is a Shareholder and Chairman of Macfarlane Ferguson & McMullen, P.A. Active in his community, he previously served as the Chairman of the Morton Plant Mease Foundation and is a member of the Morton Plant Mease Hospital Board of Trustees. Nash earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of the South and his juris doctor from Samford University.

Ronald Howse

Howse is the Owner and Chief Executive Officer of the Real Deal Development Group and the Principal of Howseco, LLC. Active in his community, he serves on the Eastern Florida State College District Board of Trustees and the St. Johns River Water Management District. Howse earned his bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Central Florida.

Russell Roberts

Roberts is a Senior Policy Advisor for the Federal Railroad Administration. Previously, he served as the Vice President of Government Affairs for Brightline Trains Florida, LLC. and Chief of Staff to former Congressman John Mica. Active in his community, Roberts previously served as a member of the Florida Tax Watch Board of Directors and the American Public Transportation Association. He attended the University of Maryland and the University of South Florida.
