PALM COAST, Fla. – On Thursday, December 11, the regular “Thursdays Get Together” group of ladies from the Portuguese American Cultural Center (PACC) enjoyed a festive Christmas luncheon featuring traditional Portuguese dishes and an array of delicious desserts. The celebration included free raffle gifts for everyone, generously donated by Maria Elizabeth, as well as a lively and humorous gift grab-and-exchange that brought plenty of laughter and comic relief.

After indulging in the culinary delights, the afternoon continued with dancing, light exercise, and even a bit of card playing. The gathering was filled with warmth, friendship, and true conviviality, as everyone shared holiday wishes for happiness and joy with one another and their families.

The “Thursdays Get Together” group meets every Thursday after 2:00 p.m. to socialize and enjoy a variety of activities, including crafts, card games, crochet lessons, and other creative pursuits. The ladies are also actively involved in charitable efforts, frequently raising funds for nonprofit organizations and crocheting blankets for SEAS Ribbons of Love, which are distributed to hospitals and care facilities for the elderly and those who are ill.

While doing meaningful work to help others in need, the group also builds lasting friendships and creates moments of relaxation and fun. All PACC lady members are warmly welcome to join.
