PALM COAST, Fla. – 2023 was a stellar year for the BOLD Ladies in Business, Inc.
Kicking off their third annual meeting in June with a bold rebranding, 2023 was a year that defined what the organization is all about. Welcoming women from chapters across Florida to the sold-out event, members were eager to celebrate the milestone. Not the only cause for celebration, as the organization continued to grow in 2023, Bold Ladies in Business became an official 501c3 nonprofit, furthering the mission of founders Ana Reyes-Ouzts and Alina Perry-Smith to help women and charitable organizations in the community.
“Our biggest accomplishment in 2023 was to start our non-profit back in February 2023, and we officially launched and rebranded all in this past year. It has been an incredible journey so far. To see how many Bold Ladies have come together to be part of this, warms my heart,” said Ana Reyes-Ouzts who serves as executive director of the Bold Ladies in Business, Inc. and as an administrator of the Bold Ladies in Business Flagler Chapter.
Perfecting the model and inspiring others to take the leap, the Bold Ladies in Business added several new chapters to the roster in 2023. Ana and Alina are excited about the future. “I can’t wait to see all the amazing things that will come in 2024. For one, we are launching a chapter in Orange County, Florida. We are relaunching the Pinellas/Hillsborough Chapter and we can’t be more excited. And of course, the best for last DUUUUVALLLL County in the house. Our ultimate goal is to start a chapter in as many counties in Florida as possible,” she said.
“We can and we will do it. We’re passing on a Bold legacy to all young businesswomen everywhere.”
The icing on the cake is the ability to help charitable organizations during each meeting. 2023’s Bold Ladies’ support for organizations like Flagler OARS, the Flagler Sheriff’s Employee Assistance Trust Fund, AdventHealth Palm Coast Foundation’s Pink Army, and Old Glory Service Dogs 4 Veterans raised $27,507.00 across all the chapters.
