Meet the cast of “Edges”, coming to City Repertory Theatre Jan 19 – 28. This four-character examination of young people on the edge of change is being directed by CRT favorite Beau Wade.
The cast includes Eric Barnum, Savanna Dacosta, Andre Maybin Jr, and Phillipa Rose. All four have appeared in CRT musicals before. Maybin and Rose were featured in this year’s “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change,” while Dacosta was last seen here in “MTI’s All Together Now” in 2021 and Barnum appeared as Aladdin in 2022’s “Twisted”.
“Edges” was the first collaboration between Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (“Dear Evan Hansen”, “La La Land”). They wrote the piece in 2005 when they were 19-year-old undergraduates in musical theatre at the University of Michigan.
