1. Who in the band started the Almost ABBA show and why? Almost ABBA was formed in Ontario, Canada in 1996. Almost ABBA is the longest-running North American tribute to the Swedish super group. Lisa Ewing, who performs as Agnetha, grew up with the music of ABBA and loved singing the songs. When performing ABBA songs in a show band it was evident that there were many fans of the Swedish Super group who would love to hear more of the music recreated. Soon Almost ABBA was in the works…

2. Why do you think people love the music of ABBA so much? The blend of great pop melodies, danceable beats with the incredible voices and musical talents of ABBA was an unbeatable combination.

3. What is the group’s favorite ABBA song(s) to perform? Dancing Queen, Mamma Mia, Does Your Mother Know and Take a Chance are favorites (but they’re all great).

4. Has the show changed over the years? Almost ABBA has progressed over the years but one thing remains the same, the commitment to perform the songs as authentically as possible and to recreate the nostalgia of ABBA in a way that brings back great memories and joy for the fans.

5. What can audiences look forward to when they come to the Almost ABBA show on November 18? We would like fans to know it’s all about fun! Sing-a-long with us, “Take a Chance” and dance, we hope you all will be “..having the time of your life!” ?❤️?
