DAYTONA BEACH, Florida (June 22, 2023) – Memorial Day Weekend was filled with laughter and excitement as our friends at Gary Yeomans Ford hosted a fantastic fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Club kids. The event, which was held at their dealership, drew families and supporters together for a day of enjoyable activities and giving.
From the moment the event began, it was clear that Gary Yeomans Ford had gone above and beyond to make sure that everyone engaged would have a wonderful time. From the bounce house to the corn hole activities, and pizza party, the kids had a great time. The Dunk tank featuring our CEO Joe Sullivan as the dunkee gave our youth endless smiles and laughter and was the highlight of their day.
We were honored to be presented with a donation of $5,800 from Gary Yeoman Ford and $2,000 from the Auto Mall from the event.
We asked Gary Yeoman’s what their motivation for them giving back to their community, Gary Yeomans Ford shared they are driven by their desire to show gratitude to the community that has supported their success. When they became a Club friend, they already had a long history of giving back and seeing the children engage in activities and in environments where they can simply be kids.
Krissy Chalk, a present board member of the BGCVFC and the Executive Manager at Gary Yeomans Ford Lincoln, attested to the company’s deep-rooted passion for helping local children, stating that it is a part of Gary Yeomans Ford DNA.
