FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – Hosting a variety of local vendors and live music in the park, it was a full day of fun dedicated to celebrating Earth Day on Saturday at Washington Oaks Gardens State Park.

The pristine gardens, noted for the formal rose garden and serene nature trails, drew hundreds to the state park located on A1A in the Hammock, for Earth-friendly programming including workshops and the annual plant sale, supported by the Friends of Washington Oaks.

Environmental booths offered educational materials and interactive displays while the kids’ section, overseen by area Kiwanis Club members, provided fun, family-friendly activities.
