Palm Coast – Beginning Monday, February 6, the Palm Coast Tennis Center will host the Palm Coast Open Men’s M15: A USTA Pro Circuit Tournament, and there are so many ways to get in on the action! The City of Palm Coast has worked with the United States Tennis Association (USTA) professionals for twelve years, hosting tournaments that feature some of the world’s best up-and-coming tennis talent.

Players compete for a chance at winning a total of $15,000 in prize money and points toward their ATP ranking, a merit-based method to determine tournament entry and seeding based on men’s tennis rankings. The Palm Coast Open is proud to be sponsored by AdventHealth Palm Coast, Flagler Broadcasting, and Friends of Tennis. This tournament is made possible by partnerships with Flagler County and the Tourist Development Council, as they have been instrumental in hosting this spectacular event.

Spectators are enthusiastically invited to come enjoy the thrill of competitive tennis at the Palm Coast Tennis Center. Qualifying matches begin at 10 a.m. on Monday, February 6, and are played through Thursday, February 9. Semi-Finals take place Friday, February 10, through Saturday, February 11, beginning at 10:30 a.m. The tournament concludes with finals matches and the award presentations taking place on Sunday, February 12, beginning at 11 a.m.

A food truck will be on-site providing snacks, meals, and drinks for purchase. Parking will be available at the Palm Coast Tennis Center with additional parking at the Lehigh Trailhead off Belle Terre Parkway, opposite Fire Station 25. Please be aware that parking on-site is limited, so carpooling is highly encouraged. Spectators are urged to utilize the crosswalk at the intersection of Belle Terre Parkway and Royal Palms Parkway to safely cross the street.

The Palm Coast Open is also a place for homegrown amateur talent to step into the spotlight. The tournament features a Wild Card Qualifier, from Saturday, February 4, through Sunday, February 5. Play begins at 9 a.m. Men’s singles players can compete for a champion spot in the main draw, while the runner-up receives an entry into the Qualifier. The men’s doubles champions receive an entry into the main draw.

Be sure to mark your calendar for Tennis Expo Day! Saturday, February 11, will be packed with morning fun, as the popular Net Generation Kids Event offers children ages 6-12 a chance to enjoy a free tennis clinic from seasoned tennis pros. This free kids’ event begins at 9 a.m. Post-clinic refreshments are being generously provided by Bruster’s Real Ice Cream. Then stick around for a USTA Wheelchair Tennis Exhibition game at 10 a.m., followed by a special tennis presentation by the incredibly talented Special Olympics players, beginning at 10:20 a.m. There is no cost for Tennis Expo Day, but children must be registered to take place in the Net Generation Kids Event.
