Palm Coast, FL – For the 16th year, the City of Palm Coast has been named a Tree City USA by the national Arbor Day Foundation in recognition of Palm Coast’s urban forestry program.
The Tree City USA program has been greening up cities and towns across America since 1976. It is a nationwide movement that provides the framework necessary for communities to manage and expand their public trees.

“Palm Coast prides itself in preserving and protecting the local environment for its sustainability, beauty and recreational benefits,” said Carol Mini. “Residents of this community are proud to live in a place that makes the planting and care of trees a priority.”
The City of Palm Coast’s 2021 Arbor Day event will be held Sept. 18 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Central Park. More details will be released about that event later in the summer.
