The Jerry Doliner Food Bank services those in need in Volusia and Flagler Counties regardless of religion or background, where the Jewish Federation maintains a well-stocked weekly food bank that provides essential food to people lacking enough to feed their families.

The Federation’s Jerry Doliner Food Bank has been a beacon of hope for the local community, tirelessly working to alleviate hunger and provide essential nutritional assistance to those in need. With the establishment of this fund, together with the Jewish Federation we aim to amplify the impact of the food bank’s efforts and ensure its sustainability for generations to come.

The food bank provides staples such as cereals, juices, canned vegetables and fruits, canned meats and fish, peanut butter, pasta and sauce, milk, paper goods, fresh produce and other items deemed necessary for survival. In addition, fresh produce and meat are provided.

This fund, which is the first partnership between Community Foundation and the Jewish Federation, represents a significant milestone in the ongoing efforts of the Community Foundation and United Way of Volusia and Flagler Counties to support the local organizations that make a positive impact on the lives of countless families in our region.

“We are proud to partner with the Jewish Federation of Volusia and Flagler Counties to support the outstanding work of the Jerry Doliner Food Bank. Together, we can make a lasting difference in the lives of those facing food insecurity,” said Courtney Edgcomb, President and CEO of the Community Foundation and United Way of Volusia and Flagler Counties.
