Volusia Memorial is proud to announce its First Annual Candlelight Service of Remembrance, a community event dedicated to honoring and celebrating the memories of loved ones during the holiday season. This inaugural gathering will take place on Sunday, December 8, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:40 PM at 4815 South Clyde Morris Blvd, Port Orange, FL. The event is free and open to the public.
This special evening is designed to provide a space for reflection, connection, and healing. Attendees will participate in a candlelight ceremony featuring tributes and music, offering a comforting way to remember those who have passed. The event is open to all and aims to bring peace and togetherness to families and individuals during this poignant time of year.
“We are honored to host this first Candlelight Service of Remembrance for our community,” said Sal P. Passalaqua, Jr., Area Manager/Funeral Director. “Our sister location in Flagler Beach has been hosting this tradition for 20 years, and we’re honored to bring this meaningful event to the Port Orange community for the first time,” said Sal Passalaqua, Area Manager/Funeral Director.
