Hit the Beach Early: This year’s Hang 8 Dog Surfing event in downtown Flagler Beach is this coming Saturday, May 20th! The event will take place on the beach at 5th Street South, and we’re respectfully asking participants and spectators to PLEASE carpool; as parking is limited.

PLEASE don’t park on the sea dunes, and there are three (3) FREE City parking lots conveniently located within a couple of blocks of the event. The FREE parking lots are located at;
🅿️ – Pelican Lot: A1A at 6th Street South
🅿️ – Osprey Lot: South 5th Street & South Daytona Avenue
🅿️ – Right Whale Lot: 8th Street South & South Central Avenue
For additional FREE parking lots, please check HERE.
This is a fantastic local event, and if you’re traveling on A1A Saturday morning, please expect minor traffic delays in the downtown area (SR100 to 10th Street South).

We’re looking forward to great weather on Saturday, along with a fun (and safe) day for the contestants, event staff, visitors and residents.
