Yes. We know the guinea pig Oreo was click bait, but we needed your attention.
Furry friends can transform a house into a home, and even older pets need love.
Meet some of the Flagler Humane Society’s senior pets who are looking for their forever home. Patience, love and attention are some of the biggest things these older pooches need.
Meet Bambi
Age: 10 years old
Bambi has been previously adopted but is looking for a place to live out her golden years. This terrier mix has a penchant for chasing other animals, loves going on walks and is energetic.
Bambi enjoys a special diet – she prefers senior food, and may be familiar to FHS supporters for her modeling appearances in the past for the shelter.
Her adoption fee is sponsored.
Meet Buddy
Age: 10 years old
One look in Buddy’s eyes and you’ll fall in love. This sweet, curious terrier mix was removed for animal cruelty along with his sister Coco, who has been adopted, and now he’s looking for his forever home.
Buddy prefers to fly solo as the center of attention in your home, and his submissive nature will have you ready to nurture Buddy with all your love.
Meet Riggs
Age: 7 years old
This fluffy Chow Chow mix is in tune with his surroundings.
While he doesn’t mind cats, he’s people selective.
Once he’s fallen in love with you and your family, you’ll enjoying doing some of his favorites which include car rides and time at the beach as an active lifestyle family.
If they sound like a great fit for you or your family, talk with Maddy DeLucco, veterinarian assistant and adoption specialist at the Flagler Humane Society for details.
