BUNNELL, Fla. – It’s not every day you can say it snows in Florida, but on Friday night peals of laughter could be heard across the park as kids raced in and out of the ‘snow piles’. Covered head to toe in bubbles, it was the perfect ‘Florida snow’.

Plenty of sticky, none of the cold.

Holding the 2nd Annual Christmas in Bunnell event, Bunnell Mayor Catherine Robinson was joined by her family and countless others ready to ring in the holidays with free activities ranging from making s’mores to enjoying field day fun on the bounce house, weaving through the maze or petting the live animals.

It’s the second year the event has been held at the Joanne B. King Park just steps from the Flagler County Government Services Building, with residents and visitors alike discovering the spacious park.

The signature event is one of the many initiatives taking place in Bunnell as a revitalization of the county seat and solidifying the city’s place as the quintessential 21st century small town, ready to meet the needs of tomorrow while maintaining it’s charm.
