St. Johns County, FL — Registration is open for Winter Break Children’s Camps for ages 6-12 at First Coast Cultural Center until December 24.

“These high-quality camps give students an opportunity to explore different facets of the arts and further foster a love of the arts,” according to Donna Guzzo, FCCC President and CEO.

Sweet Sculptures, a four-day art and drama camp, will be held December 30-31 and January 2-3. It will be led by Disney and Nickelodeon acting coach, Sheri Lahris, and FCCC staff. After their morning drama session, children will sculpt, paint, draw, learn about art history, and create using a process-based philosophy.

Additionally, there will be a Winter Break Culinary Camp. Campers will engage in the joys of cooking – and eating – their own culinary delights. Activities include learning how to measure ingredients and prepare recipes, following sanitary practices in the culinary space. These unique lessons also reinforce reading, math, and science skills.
