Flagler County, FL – Since taking the helm of the Flagler Home Builders Association nearly three and a half years ago, executive officer Annamaria Abad has continued to lead the organization on an upward trajectory, carrying on the groundbreaking work of her powerhouse predecessor, Debi Peterson.
Establishing her place as an innovative leader, Abad has helped usher the organization representing Flagler’s home builders and associated industries into the 21st century with finesse.
Adding to the allure of this year’s Parade of Homes, the event to showcase the work of premier builders across the region has gone digital. Offering an easy to navigate app, this year the tour gives home buyers and real estate agents a chance to plan their experience and maximize the time of busy buyers ready to make Flagler County their final destination.
“This year we are proud to debut the Flagler Parade of Homes mobile app – available on both Google Play and The App Store,” shared Abad. “Not only can you browse the entries from the comfort of your home, when you’re ready to go out, it will link to your preferred map service and guide you right to the door!”
The 2021 Flagler Parade of Homes kicked off with the awards ceremony last Thursday evening at Channel Side, allowing the FHBA a chance to recognize members for their outstanding homes, designs and special features.
Opening the Parade of Homes last Saturday, on March 20th, Abad hopes visitors will be inspired as they visit the homes and communities on display.
“The Flagler Parade of Homes is Flagler’s premier new home event,” said Abad. “With a noted shortage in housing inventory, building a new house designed to your wants and needs just makes sense. Whether you’re looking for your first home or your last, it’s the best time to go out to the entries and start looking.”
Abad shared advice for those “already in their forever home” and ready for a remodel.
