Philip Whalen, son of Frank Whalen (East Coast Building Corp.) is looking to run in the 2022 New York City Marathon on the American Heart Association team to help raise funds to help support the American Heart Association and their mission to help advance medical treatments for heart disease.
There are only a few ways one is able to enter the Marathon such as a random drawing, time qualification, or to run for a charity after raising a certain amount for the charity.
That’s where we come in! We are a family at the Flagler HBA and a very supportive family at that. Below is the link to Philip’s Donation page and his personal story of running this marathon for his best friend / grandfather who suffered and lost his life to heart disease.
