DAYTONA BEACH – SMA Healthcare is pleased to announce the ribbon cutting ceremony for its Primary Care Facility in Daytona Beach. The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place on Wednesday, December 1, at 10 a.m. at 420 Stadium Road, Daytona Beach.

“This facility will serve a community that is need of quality healthcare, but may be unable to afford or find providers that will assist them,” said CEO Ivan Cosimi. “The services we are providing at this site are making a difference to our clients and are saving lives.”

The facility has undergone a complete remodel, including the installation of state-of-the-art machinery and addition of many new services into the continuum of care. Some of the changes made to the clinic are as follows: six exam rooms; a laboratory room for point of care testing services and equipment; office space for providers; a central hub for providers and nurses to collaborate; a children’s exam room; and, a children’s lobby, an adult lobby, and a group room for SMA program and external partners to utilize.

The ceremony will feature a short program, including a few speakers, the official ribbon-cutting, a tour of the facility, and refreshments served by SMA’s Chef Kirk Kief.
