Daytona Beach, FL – (November 11, 2021) Kicking off four days of nearly non-stop rock, it was a mix of new bands and established favorites that greeted fans on opening night.

Cypress Hill’s B-Real delivers on some of the duo’s hit songs at Welcome to Rockville at the Daytona International Speedway on Thursday night.

Introducing audiences to the likes of Jeris Johnson, admittedly playing his first really big audience, he whipped up the crowd with his rap/rock style with favorites like “Friday” – even on a Thursday, and “One Night”. Another high energy act Grandson, amped up the crowds ahead of big names like Gojira, A Day to Remember, Cypress Hill and the night’s headliner, Slipknot. 

Slipknot closes out the show with a powerful performance during the first day at Welcome to Rockville at the Daytona International Speedway on Thursday night.

Bringing a variety of songs from their catalogue spanning two decades, Slipknot performed their new single for only the second time since it’s release as the band closed out their tour in Daytona Beach.

Welcome to Rockville continues through the weekend with big name rock acts like Rob Zombie, Chevelle, Metallica and more.
