BRENTWOOD, Tenn. — Tractor Supply Company will celebrate local farmers, makers, bakers and artisans during its nationwide Harvest Fest on Saturday, Sept. 12.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., participating Tractor Supply stores will host farmers market-style events where community vendors can showcase and sell locally grown produce, homemade foods, handcrafted goods and other products.
“Out Here, our neighbors grow, make, bake and build incredible things every single day,” said Eric Jackson, vice president of marketing at Tractor Supply. “Harvest Fest is an opportunity to celebrate those talents and support local entrepreneurs. Many of these makers shop our aisles every week, so it’s a privilege to showcase their hard work and celebrate the communities that make Life Out Here so special.”
Harvest Fest offerings vary by location but may include local honey, canned goods, fresh produce, cakes, breads, hot sauces and popcorn. Shoppers may also find handmade birdhouses, wind chimes, jewelry, crocheted items and custom-forged knives.
This year’s celebration includes a special connection to FFA. The first 20 customers at each store will receive a free limited-edition tote designed by FFA member Mia Harman of Bonners Ferry, Idaho, while supplies last.
Harman created the winning design for a contest Tractor Supply launched in April. Her “Rooted in Ag” artwork features livestock, produce and a picturesque barn, capturing the spirit of farm life. She received a $250 Tractor Supply gift card, while her FFA chapter received a $1,000 gift card to support future projects.
After browsing the local vendors, customers can shop Tractor Supply’s seasonal collection of farm-inspired accents, Halloween costumes and décor. Customers who spend $5 will also receive a coupon for $1 off Pepsi products, while supplies last.
Tractor Supply is extending its support of young agricultural leaders through its FFA Future Leaders fundraiser. Through Sunday, Sept. 20, customers may donate at checkout in stores or online. Contributions support scholarships for FFA members pursuing education in agriculture-related fields or skilled trades.
