BUNNELL, Fla. – Flagler Broadcasting President & CEO David Ayres announced Mike Lischio as the new Sports Director for WNZF Radio.
“Mike is well deserving of this promotion with 16 years of dedication covering Flagler County sports”, Ayres said.
Lischio began his radio career at WNZF providing color commentary for high school football broadcasts in 2010 and is in his 4th year as the sports anchor on Flagler’s Morning News. He begins his 17th season in the press box as the lead play by play anchor for both FPC and Matanzas High School Football.
“As the new sports director at WNZF it‘s an honor and privilege to continue telling the stories of local athletes and coaches”, says Lischio. The 2026 WNZF Game Of The Week broadcast schedule will be announced next week.

In addition to his duties at WNZF, Mike is also the play by play voice for Flagler College baseball, softball, basketball, soccer, lacrosse and volleyball. You’ll also hear him as a public address announcer at Flagler-Palm Coast High School for boys and girls basketball, girls soccer, baseball and softball and at St. Augustine High School for boys’ lacrosse.
Mike lives in Saint Augustine with his wife, Kim, and their twin children Michael III and Gabriella.
