Join us this Thursday, February 12th, at noon as we welcome two of the Democratic candidates campaigning to represent our district in the U.S. House of Representatives. Ronnie Murchinson-Rivera will join us at 12:00, then at 1:00 we will hear from Eric Yonce. Please come out and support these two dynamic young men! As always, we meet at Democrat Headquarters, 160 Cypress Point Pkwy, Suite 214C.

If you’re a member who hasn’t renewed yet, please bring your $45 membership dues, cash or check payable to PCDC.  If you’re not yet a member, Thursday would be a great day to join the Palm Coast Democratic Club!

Ronnie Murchinson-Rivera is a lifelong Democrat, public servant, and community advocate running for Congress in Florida’s 6th Congressional District. With a background in public service and law enforcement, Ronnie brings real-world experience and a strong commitment to Democratic values, including affordability, accessible healthcare, workers’ rights, environmental protection, and public safety with accountability. He is focused on protecting Florida’s waterways and environment, expanding economic opportunity, and ensuring government works for people, not corporate interests. Ronnie is running a fully grassroots campaign powered by everyday people and is committed to putting people over politics and delivering real, progressive results for our community.

Eric Yonce was born in Florida and raised in this District, and this community has always been home to him. He grew up in Citra and graduated from North Marion High School. His father served as a police officer in Ocala, and his mother leads the local Realtor Association, helping to make homeownership accessible. From them, he learned the value of hard work, public service, and fighting for community.

Eric spent more than 20 years working as a manager in big box retail stores across our District. That experience put him face to face with the real challenges working families and small communities deal with every day. He has also seen firsthand how reckless, profit driven development has erased the very things that make Florida special, our coastlines, natural landscapes, and native wildlife.

Eric brings a working class, people first perspective to public service shaped by real world experience and a deep love for the District he calls home.

IMPORTANT:

Palm Coast Democratic Club continues to aid The Flagler County Family Assistance Center (aka the Sheltering Tree) with donations of nonperishable food, new or gently used clothing, and personal care supplies. The recipients are VERY appreciative of our support, especially with grocery prices skyrocketing and the extreme cold weather we’ve been experiencing.  Drop your items at Dem HQ, 160 Cypress Point Pkwy, Mon-Fri 10am-2pm and we will make sure this worthy organization receives them so they can be distributed to the less fortunate in our community.

Also, if you’re an early riser and would like to volunteer to serve breakfast to our community members who need to use the cold weather shelter over night, please reach out to Gail Danhoff at egad88@hotmail.com. Your assistance is needed and greatly appreciated!
