The City of St. Augustine celebrates April as Earth Month and will host several events for the community. Residents are invited to participate in events aimed at promoting environmental awareness and sustainability.

The schedule of events is as follows:

  • Monday, April 22 – Fish Island Walking Tour (15 participants max, register here)
  • Tuesday, April 23 – Sustainability Workshops (Flyer here)
  • Thursday, April 25 – Resiliency Walking Tour (10 participants max, register here)
  • Friday, April 26 – Recycling Event (More information here)
  • Saturday, April 27 – Fish Island Walking Tour (15 participants max, register here)

“We are excited to invite the community to participate in Earth Month activities with us,” said Glabra Skipp, Deputy Director of Utilities & Public Works.  “City residents attending our Sustainability Workshops on April 23 will have an opportunity to pre-register for a compost bin as part of our Residential Composting Program. Residents not attending the workshop will be able to apply for a compost bin starting May 1.”
