Palm Coast, FL – Time is running out for Palm Coast residents to register for The Gammon Ruck Relay, a remarkable event that honors the legacy of the late City of Palm Coast Fire Department Fire Fighter-Paramedic Brant Gammon.

This unique event will take place on November 4, 2023, at 8:00 AM at Heroes Memorial Park. It commemorates Brant’s dedication to service and his inspirational journey from an IT career to the fire service. This one-of-a-kind relay will help fund a scholarship in Brant’s name for adults pursuing a second career in the fire service.

The Gammon Ruck Relay will cover 28 miles, with teams completing a ruck relay to each Palm Coast fire station. The event is not about winning or losing; it’s about working together for a common goal. Finishers will earn a patch, a challenge coin, and the respect of their fellow participants.
